Masterpiece Alliance (MA) is a faith-based 501c3 non-profit located in the Roanoke Valley focused on building community for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, ensuring no one has to live life feeling isolated in the margins of society. MA has created a vibrant and inclusive community. In fact, this community has become one of my main places of belonging.
When I prayed “here I am, Lord send me”, the Lord heard my prayers. After 20 years working in a corporate setting I felt Gods calling to once again be involved in disability ministry. God answered my prayer with the opportunity to work with Masterpiece Alliance. I would love to invite you and would be honored to have you be a part of this journey alongside me!
In my position, I will work to create relationships with adults with disabilities. I want the individuals in this community to know they are valued, loved, and have purpose in life. In my role, I will also work with local churches to help establish connections to inclusive communities for Masterpiece Alliance friends to get plugged into close to their homes. The best part of the job, though, is sharing the good news that regardless of our abilities, we are ALL God’s masterpieces created for a purpose!
MA pays a portion of my salary, but I also need to raise up a team of partners who will faithfully give every month to support my work with Masterpiece Alliance. Perhaps you could give $100 a month, $200 a month or some other amount. Would you join my team by pledging monthly financial support?
Not only is your support tax deductible, it is essential. With people like you coming alongside me, lives will be changed. More friends with disabilities will be drawn out of isolation and into meaningful community, and more of God’s Masterpieces will build relationships with their Creator!
