Founding and Governing Vision:
Masterpiece Alliance’s vision is for people with disabilities and their families to find belonging and purpose in meaningful community.
One day individuals with disabilities will be drawn out of isolation and into meaningful community where they are known, accepted, loved and celebrated just as they are. Masterpiece Alliance wants to provide a sense of belonging to foster friendships among people of all abilities and help everyone discover their purpose for which they were created.
Long-Term Vision:
The Roanoke Valley will be an EPICENTER of disability ministry and services.
Imagine people moving to the Roanoke Valley because this was a place where ALL people belong and ALL people have opportunity! Then, like epicenters do, the vision could spread from the Roanoke Valley to other communities across Virginia, the country, and even the world.
Our Mission:

1. Create an inclusive community for people of all abilities.
To create an inclusive community, Masterpiece Alliance will:
Organize and encourage regularly-occurring large group events and social activities.
Foster relationships and friendships between people of all ability levels so that everybody has a friend.
Identify and pursue specific ways for people with disabilities to play important roles within the community.
Partner with and support the mission of Young Life Capernaum.
Build meaningful relationships with other organizations and individuals who support the physical, emotional, and social needs of people with disabilities and their families.
2. To support and equip the Roanoke Valley to proactively become a place of belonging where adults with disabilities find purpose and have meaningful roles, Masterpiece Alliance will
Maintain a Masterpiece Alliance Church Network.
Create special events for partners to learn more about the world of disabilities.
